San Juan, Puerto Rico- Puerto Rico Football Club adds prolific goal scorer Bljedi Bardic from NPSL side Clarkstown SC Eagles. Bardic attended the PRFC player combine in March, and stood out as one of the top players.

“His scoring ability was well known, but he displayed a great attitude, work ethic, and willingness to be versatile during the tryouts. He also showed a great desire to play for us at Puerto Rico FC. We fully expect Bljedi to continue his goal scoring exploits at NASL level” said Technical Director, Neil Sillett.

Bardic, played professionally in his native Montenegro where he was a regular goal scorer, but decided to move to New York to continue his career. The 24 year old dominated the NPSL with 84 goals in 64 games, which caught the attention of Jason Kreis, the former Head Coach of NYCFC, along with its star player, David Villa, who invited Bardic to train during the offseason.

“We have a great relationship with the Clarkstown organization, and its owner who highly recommended Bljedi.  Once he attended our combine in Florida, we knew we had a player who could make a difference for us now and in the future” commented Tom Payne, President, PRFC.
